Teachers everywhere are trying to answer the same questions...
Am I behind?
What’s actually okay to use?
How do I let AI help me without letting it replace real thinking?
What’s okay for students to use (and what crosses the line)?
The AI Clarity Camp is a 6-week guided experience designed to help teachers answer those questions thoughtfully.
Not with hype.
Not with pressure to become an expert.
Just clear thinking about where AI belongs in your classroom.
Most professional development about AI focuses on tools.
This camp focuses on thinking.
Instead of chasing the newest apps, we focus on the questions teachers actually care about:
Where does AI help learning?
Where does it replace thinking?
How do we talk honestly with students about AI?
By the end of the camp, you will have your own approach that you can explain to students, families, and colleagues.
By the end of the camp, you'll have:
A clearer understanding of AI
You’ll understand what AI can do well, where it struggles, and why it sometimes gets things wrong.
That clarity makes it easier to decide how AI should (and shouldn't) show up in your classroom.
Clear classroom boundaries
You’ll define where AI is helpful and where students need to do the thinking themselves, and turn those decisions into practical classroom guidelines.
A few ways to save time
You’ll learn how AI can help with things like brainstorming, feedback prompts, or lesson ideas without replacing your professional judgment.
Language for explaining your approach
You’ll leave with a clear way to talk about AI with students, parents, and colleagues.
Over six weeks, you’ll move through a simple structure designed for busy teachers.
Each week includes:
one short lesson that builds your understanding of AI
reflection prompts to help you think through your own stance
a simple AI activity or example to try
access to a private online space to share ideas and questions
optional virtual campfire chats with other educators
Each week builds on the last.
By the end of the camp you will have:
redesigned one real lesson or classroom workflow
created simple classroom guidelines for AI use
written a short statement explaining how you choose to use AI in your teaching
clarity and confidence navigating this new terrain!
An AI Clarity Camp certificate in "Human-Centered AI Literacy for Teachers"
Teachers who complete the camp will receive a certificate of completion documenting their participation and learning.
AI Clarity Camp is designed for busy teachers.
Plan on about 2 hours per week for the core lessons and reflection prompts.
If you choose to explore additional resources or participate in community discussions, you might spend 3–4 hours some weeks.
You don’t have to complete everything at once. Many teachers choose to spread the work across the week in smaller chunks that fit their schedule.
The goal is to make space to think clearly about AI and your classroom.
This first round of the AI Clarity Camp is a pilot cohort, limited to 12 teachers.
I’m calling this group the Founding Campers because you’ll help shape the future of this program!
As a founding camper, you’ll receive the special $147 founding rate in exchange for helping me refine and improve the experience.
Your participation helps me learn what resonates most, what resources are most useful and what parts of the program should be expanded or adjusted.
Future versions of AI Clarity Camp will be offered at a higher price once the program is fully developed. (And you'll get access to all future iterations of the camp resources, too! Once a camper, always a camper.)
What I'm asking from founding campers
In exchange for the founding rate, I ask that participants complete the weekly reflections, share feedback about the experience and provide a short testimonial at the end if the program was valuable.
Your insights will help shape the next version of AI Clarity Camp so it can support even more educators.
Plus, you will gain clarity around AI, too! Win, win!
AI Clarity Camp isn’t just something you work through on your own. It’s a small group of classroom teachers figuring this out together. You’ll connect with educators who are asking the same questions you are.
Inside the camp, teachers share ideas, talk through real classroom challenges, and learn from each other’s experiments.
You’ll see how other educators are setting boundaries, trying AI-supported strategies, and protecting real thinking in their classrooms.
By the end, you won’t just have new ideas.
You’ll have a group of colleagues who understand the work you’re doing.
If you’re curious about AI but don’t want to lose what makes your teaching human, you’ll feel at home here.

Not at all.
AI Clarity Camp is designed for teachers who are curious about AI but don’t consider themselves “tech people.”
The focus is not on mastering tools. It’s on thinking clearly about how AI intersects with real teaching and learning.
The ideas in the camp apply across elementary, middle, and high school classrooms.
Teachers will be reflecting on their own classroom context and redesigning a lesson or workflow that fits their students.
Plan on about 2 hours per week for the core lessons and reflection prompts.
If you explore additional resources or participate more in community discussions, you might spend 3–4 hours some weeks.
The experience is designed so you can spread the work across the week in smaller chunks that fit your schedule.
No. We are all busy teachers, so this camp is designed to fit around your schedule when you are able to carve out the time.
No.
We’ll primarily use free, widely available tools so that what you learn is easy to apply in your classroom.
Yes.
Teachers who complete the camp will receive an AI Clarity Camp Certificate of Completion in Thoughtful AI Practice for Educators, which can be used for professional learning records or continuing education documentation.
The lessons are short and designed to be manageable.
If you miss a week, you’ll still be able to catch up during the six-week experience.
The first cohort is intentionally small.
Only 12 teachers will be accepted so that conversations stay thoughtful and everyone has space to participate.
This is the first run of The AI Clarity Camp.
Founding campers will help shape future versions of the program by sharing feedback about their experience.
As a thank you, this cohort is offered at the special founding rate of $147.
You can apply using the form on the application page.
If accepted, you’ll receive a payment link and next steps before the camp begins.
